Mongoose Platform: We of the Mongoose Conservative Party support the Republican Party in most of its actions in the national government, but desire to form an interastructural group to further emphasize our stances on the following issues.

1) A capitalist society is not only morally correct from a government stand point, but also beneficial to the whole American people.

2) War should be avoided whenever possible. Nonetheless, the reasons for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are legitmate, and the US needs to stay until the countries’ own governments are stable enough to take over.

3) Global Warming is a natural cycle that should not be feared. Those who support the theory of man-made global warming are either misinformed, zealots, or blatant liars.

4) People of the homosexual mentality should not be discriminated against by heterosexuals or the government; however, the US national government should not endorse gay marriages/unions (it is up to each state).

5) There are rare instances where abortion may be permissable, though regulated (such as certain cases of rape or the likely chance of maternal fatalilty), but in all other situations, abortions should be completely banned. 

6) A major part of the solution to eliminate oil dependency is to over turn most bans on drilling in Alaska.
